The
Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering (AJSE) (ISSN
1319-8025) is an open access research
journal covering Science and Engineering subjects published by the
King Fahd University of
Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia since 1975.
AJSE is a peer-reviewed journal
and publishes rigorous and original contributions in the Science disciplines
of Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Sciences, along with
the Engineering disciplines of Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical,
Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Systems
Engineering.
The AJSE is now in its 33rd
year of continuous publication, and at present comprises six more
specialized issues a year, namely, two in Science subjects, two in
Engineering subjects, and two Theme Issues on specific topics. The AJSE will
begin publishing Mathematics papers in a separate specialized journal (AJSE-MATHEMATICS)
in 2009.
The AJSE is
abstracted/indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (ISI
Citation Databases), Ulrich’s
Periodical Directory, Scopus, DOAJ, MathSciNet, Zentralblatt Math, Chemical
Abstracts, INIS Atomindex, Current Contents, GeoRef, AskIEEE, among others. Also,
AJSE
is distributed to University
Libraries and other subscribers worldwide.
Manuscripts must be submitted in the English language irrespective of the
native language of the author(s). All manuscripts are accepted for
review subject to the author’s written undertaking that they have not been
and will not be published elsewhere in any format, and that there are no
ethical concerns with the contents or data collection. The authors warrant
that the information submitted is not redundant and respects general
guidelines of ethics in publishing. All papers are evaluated by at least two
referees, who are known scholars in their fields worldwide.
All manuscript types are
peer-reviewed prior to publication. All papers are evaluated by at least two

not reveal the identities of the reviewers to the author(s) and does not
allow the author(s) to make proposals for the reviewers of their work.
